Inertia has been with us through so many “foster dog” experiences, and she has really grown to love meeting them and making new friends and patiently helping them acclimate to life with us.

But Shade is the first foster that Veronica has experienced since she came to us as a 9-week-old rescue puppy, and Veronica was pretty thrown off… Here’s an update. I’m really looking forward to showing you how their relationship develops over the weeks that Shade is with us.

Remember, your dog is not required to like other dogs 😜 Take the time to introduce them at their own pace, and if either dog is feeling uncomfortable, advocate for them!
